Self-performed coverage

Every part of South Carolina. No travel inside 25 miles.

We only self-perform in the markets we cover. Visual Concepts technicians and our own lift trucks — not a subcontractor network. We cover every part of South Carolina, plus the greater Charlotte market in North Carolina as far as Concord, Salisbury, Statesville, Hickory, and Asheville, and greater Augusta, Georgia. Trucks dispatch from Charlotte, Charleston, Columbia, Augusta, and Greenville. Inside a 25-mile radius of those dispatch hubs, travel is not charged. Outside the 25-mile rings, travel is charged.

Questions we hear first

Straight answers. If you need a truck, submit the work order.

How is my work order assigned?
Choose Repair or new work first. Repairs go to the sales rep for that site’s territory. Install, removal, manufacturing, and survey jobs all go to Matt Pennington, owner. John Hankinson and Molly Hankinson are copied on every request.
Where do you actually roll a truck?
Every part of South Carolina, plus greater Charlotte, North Carolina — Concord, Salisbury, Statesville, Hickory, and over to Asheville — and greater Augusta, Georgia. We dispatch from Charlotte, Charleston, Columbia, Augusta, and Greenville. Inside a 25-mile radius of those hubs, travel is not charged. Outside it, travel is charged. We only self-perform in that coverage.
Do you charge travel?
Not inside a 25-mile radius of Charlotte, Charleston, Columbia, Augusta, or Greenville. Outside those rings, travel is charged. We still cover every part of South Carolina.
Do you inspect sites on a schedule?
Yes. Every client receives complimentary quarterly inspections so outages are caught and reported instead of waiting on a tenant complaint.
What is the warranty?
Installed parts are warrantied for one year from the date of replacement.
Can you handle the electrical side, not just the fixture?
Yes. We keep certified electricians for circuit issues, and our trucks stock the lamps, LEDs, and modules to close most outages in a single visit.
